June 7/8th  VRCC UK Cotswolds Treasure Hunt Weekend...

Hi all, I am aware that we have quite a few new Valk owners visiting the board since the last treasure Hunt in 2006. So in case you were wondering what it was and would you like to attend...here is some background.... More than anything it is a weekend away in the Cotswolds for Valk owners (and some Wing owners but we forgive them because we like them! none intended BV, Ave and Satch, Ted and Sue! and anyone else on a bike - we are not proud.) So a meeting of friends involving some riding around and merrymaking in the evening. Technically it isn't really a treasure hunt, but a ride around a given route - answering clues about particular locations that will entail you getting off the bike and having a wander and a look see. There are prizes for the people that get all/most of the questions right and within a certain time frame - the last two treasure hunts have been won by Shaun and Ali so the opportunity is there to take the crown away form them this year! Vinnie has kindly designed and made a beautiful VRCC themed trophy which means the winners get their names engraved and you get to grace your mantelpiece at home for a year and impress all and sundry! There is a post further down with hotel details - this year we have got the weekend for £110 per couple - that is PER COUPLE for Dinner bed and breakfast on Saturday 7th June. This will be at the Bull at Fairford. If you want any more info then drop me a line, or add your names to the thread and I can give you more details. The last two times we have been blessed with fantastic weather and more to the point, fantastic company - so if you are not sure - my advice is come along - someone needs to beat the Wiltshire two! Places are limited - so far we have 26 people going, there are places for around another 14 people - there are single rooms available - so don't feel like a gooseberry if you want to come on your own.
